Library Rules
- No food, candy, gum, or drinks in the library
- Remember to use quiet, inside voices
- Students are encouraged to use shelf markers
- Students should return unwanted items to the book cart
- Books checked out to students are their responsibility... please do not lend them to friends

Library Hours at Knightsen Elementary are: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Library Hours at Old River Elementary are: Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Library Policies
Library Lending
- TK-Grade 1: ONE library book for Seven days*
- Grade 2 - Grade 8: TWO library books for Seven days*
*Textbooks and/or required reference materials will not count as "library books"
*Students can renew a book two times for a total of 21 days
Over Due Books and Fines
- Students with overdue materials will not be permitted to checkout any library books until all items have been returned.
- Fines will be assessed for lost and/or damaged library materials, including textbooks and reference materials.
- Students have the option of paying for lost/damaged materials or replacing them with a duplicate copy in good condition.
Summer Reading Programs
Donations
- The library gladly accepts donations of used books in good condition
- Items the library can not use will be donated or discarded
