Food Services

Food Service during Distance Learning

Grab and Go meals will be served at

Knightsen Elementary in front of the gym on

 Wednesdays 9:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 

KESD offers Contactless Drive Thru/Walk Up Grab-n-Go breakfast and lunch services.  All meals to be consumed off site. 

For contactless and quick service: Adults or students can pick up meals with proof of KESD enrollment: please bring school ID card, class schedule, Reduced/ Free Meal Program Notification letter.  If you do not have a school ID,  cafeteria staff will need the name of student and school.

On the Free/Reduced Meal Program?   If not, please complete the Meal Service Applications.

Distance Learning Student Meal Prices: $2.50 breakfast and $3.50 lunch per student.
The Food and Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to student's health, well being and their ability to learn.  We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.  Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
